How is the tip calculated?
The tip is the bill amount multiplied by the tip percentage you pick or enter. The total is the bill plus the tip, and splitting divides that total evenly across the number of people you set.
What does "round up total" do?
It rounds the final total up to the nearest whole currency unit and adjusts the tip amount to match, which is a common way people bump a tip slightly for convenience or generosity.
