What we collect

QRSnap does not require an account and does not collect the text or links you enter to generate a QR code. All QR code generation happens locally in your browser; nothing you type is transmitted to or stored on our servers.

Cookies and your consent

On your first visit, a banner asks whether you're okay with cookies for analytics and advertising. Until you accept, Google Analytics and Google AdSense run in a restricted, non-personalized mode ("consent mode") that Google's own tags respect automatically — no advertising or analytics cookies are set until you say yes. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Advertising and cookies

If you accept, this site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings, in addition to using the cookie banner on this site.

Analytics

If you accept, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use QRSnap — for example, which pages are viewed and roughly how much traffic the site gets. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _gid) and collects information like your browser type, approximate location, and pages visited. This data is aggregated and used only to improve the site; we don't use it to identify individual visitors.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
