About RateSwap

RateSwap is a small, free tool for converting between world currencies. It was built to do one job well: give you an instant, up-to-date conversion without asking for an account, a payment, or your data.

Amounts and currency choices stay in your browser. RateSwap fetches current exchange rates from the free, keyless Frankfurter API, which republishes European Central Bank reference rates, then does the actual conversion math locally as you type — no per-keystroke network requests.

RateSwap is supported by ads shown alongside the tool, which keeps it free to use with no limits. It's one of a growing set of small tools at Laborilo.
