Screen & Webcam Recorder
Record your screen or webcam and download the video. No account, no upload. The recording is captured and saved entirely in your browser.

How it works
ClipCatch uses your browser's built-in screen- and camera-capture APIs to record directly on your device. When you click Start, your browser asks you to choose what to share (a window, a tab, or your entire screen, or grants webcam access). The video is assembled in memory as you record, and when you stop, you get a local preview and a Download button. Nothing is ever sent to a server.
Frequently asked questions
Is this free to use?
Yes. There's no sign-up, no watermark, and no time-limited trial.
Does my recording get uploaded anywhere?
No. The recording is captured and stored in your browser's memory only, and is downloaded straight to your device. It never touches a server.
Can I record my webcam instead of my screen?
Yes. Switch to Webcam mode before you start recording.
Is there a time limit?
Recordings stop automatically after 30 minutes to keep the browser tab responsive. You can download that recording and start a new one right away.
What file format do I get?
Usually a .webm file, using whichever format your browser records best. It plays in any modern browser and in players like VLC.
